Short-Term Campsites
Greenlee of MAY SPRINGS Campground is located on Cherokee Lake at 379 May Springs Road, Rutledge, TN on 100+ acre peninsula on the main channel of Cherokee Lake, in Grainger County, Tennessee.
Lake Point 6 is located on the property. We offer primitive, water & electric and full hook-up campsites with nightly and seasonal rates. We have a group camping area (Family reunion, Camping Club, etc.) with 2 full hook-up campsites beside our 5 rental cabins at the lake’s edge. There is also a launch ramp and covered pavilion with picnic tables and charcoal grills in this area.

- Campsite check-in is at 12 pm - Check-out is at 11 am
- Full-Service Dock with Both Covered and Open Slips Available Seasonally or Nightly, if Available. The Dock Also Carries Bait/Tackle, Snacks, Ice, and Gasoline. Our marine gas is 100% Gasoline, 93-Octane with Valv-Tect Marine additive to protect your engine.

Boat & Jet Ski Rentals
Offered at the Original Greenlee Campground, 1.5 miles away. Boats are fueled with gasoline when rented. They must be refilled upon return to the dock. Life jackets are provided. When you make a rental reservation, you must pay in full. When you pick up your boat, you will be required to pay an additional $50 Cleaning / Damage deposit. The deposit will be refunded when your boat is returned clean and undamaged.
Cabin Rental Policies
A non-refundable deposit equal to one night’s rent is required to reserve.
We accept Discover, Mastercard, and Visa as well as cash. All rates and times are subject to change. The total rental amount is subject to TN Sales Tax.
- There is a 2-day minimum rental and a 3-day minimum on holidays.
- YOU MUST PROVIDE YOUR OWN bed & bath linens (Sheet, blankets, pillows, towels & toiletries).
- Cabin check-in is at 3 pm - Check-out is at 11 am
