We are a family-owned and operated business located on Cherokee Lake in Rutledge, Tennessee. Greenlee Campground was built on the Greenlee family’s farmland in the early 1970s and has been in our family since the late 1980s.
This ‘original’ Greenlee Campground offers only seasonal sites (Wait list only—Cannot be used as a residence). Please see either Greenlee of MAY SPRINGS or Greenlee of FALL CREEK for short-term campsites. We also offer cabin rentals, boat rentals, full-service marina, and boat sales & service featuring Sylvan, Starcraft, and Viaggio Pontoons powered by either Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, or Mercury outboards.
Boats are fueled with gasoline when rented. They must be refilled upon return to the dock. Life jackets are provided. When you make a rental reservation, you must pay in full. When you pick up your boat, you will be required to pay an additional $50 Cleaning / Damage deposit. The deposit will be refunded when your boat is returned clean and undamaged.
TN law requires anyone born after January 1, 1989, who rents any type of watercraft to have a BOATING EDUCATION CERTIFICATE. Please be prepared to present proof at the time of rental.
*We only rent during daylight hours. (No overnight rentals)
*Life jackets (PFD’s) are provided for the maximum number allowed on the specific boat.
*Boats are full of gasoline. Customer must refill upon returning to dock.
*We will reschedule or refund due to rain if the boat has not left the dock.
*NO alcohol, grills, pets are allowed on the boats.
* Towing is permitted only on specific boats.
